Mobile coverage

In the same way, we have Telefónica’s mobile network and infrastructure. All our plans include unlimited calls to national landlines and mobiles, unlimited SMS, and the data mode you have chosen. If you use up your data, you will continue browsing at no cost at 64Kbps.

Free setup and HGU router

The service activation is free, including the SIM card delivery, technician installation, and the HGU router that ensures a 5 GHz network speed. If you ever cancel the service, you will need to return the router to us.

MultiSIM

MultiSIM allows you to have up to three SIM cards for a single mobile line, also available in eSIM version and compatible with Apple Watch. You can make calls and browse on up to 3 devices with your number. It costs 5€/month (VAT included) and you can subscribe by calling 1551.

Extra data bundle

If you use up the data included in your plan, you will continue browsing at 64kbps at no extra cost. If you prefer, you can purchase an extra data bundle from the Mi O2 app and continue browsing at maximum speed. You can subscribe to 5GB for 5€ (VAT included) or 30GB for 10€ (VAT included).

Roaming

The mobile plans include calls and data in any country of the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and the United Kingdom as if you were in Spain, at no extra cost. In the rest of the countries, its use is subject to additional charges.

Yes, you can add your number on an eSIM card at no additional cost.

Yes, you can have up to 3 SIM cards for the same mobile line for an additional cost of 5€.
This way, you can talk and browse on up to 3 devices with your number without the need to move the SIM. The price of the service is the same whether you activate one extra SIM or two.

MultiSIM is compatible with traditional SIM and eSIM and is also available for Apple Watch. You can subscribe to it for any O2 mobile line: primary, additional, or mobile-only.

O2 uses Telefónica’s network and coverage, present in 97% of the national territory.

The fiber installation can take approximately 7 to 9 days. If you are coming from Movistar and already have a fiber installation at your home, you do not need a new installation. The process will be faster.

With the Mi O2 app, you can view and download your bills. Every time a new bill is generated, we will notify you through a notification.

The billing cycle for O2 starts on the 18th of each month and ends on the 17th of the following month. It is not possible to modify the billing cycle dates. It remains the same always. The billing is issued on the 1st of each month. If the 1st is a holiday, the bill will be charged on the next closest day. For example: A billing cycle between January 18th and February 17th will be charged on the following 1st of the month, in this case, March 1st.
Remember that you can view and download your bills using the Mi O2 app.

Your first bill with O2 will be different from the rest of the bills you will receive later:

  • Your first bill will start on the service activation date and end on the following 17th, which is the billing cycle end date.
  • Your first bill may not cover a full month, so we will apply a proration based on the days you had the service active. Consequently, the tariff fee on your first bill will be lower than what you will have in subsequent bills.
  • If you contract Fiber and Mobile but the mobile line is activated before the fixed one, a pre-invoice will be generated with the corresponding amount until the fixed line is activated. However, if you activate the fixed part before the mobile part, it will be this day when your first billing cycle begins.

In your last O2 bill, we will prorate your contracted tariff based on the days you have enjoyed the service.
Your billing will cover from the 18th of the month until the day we have processed your cancellation.
We remind you that you can view and download all your invoices through the Mi O2 app.

If you’re coming to O2 from Movistar, there’s no need for us to send you a new SIM. The process will be done through electronic portability, and your current Movistar SIM will work on O2. This is because Movistar and O2 are brands of the Telefónica group and share the same network and infrastructure. This way, we’ve managed to reduce waiting time.

You don’t have to contact your current operator. When Movistar confirms that you can switch to O2, we will notify you by SMS. The process will be completed within a maximum of 3 business days, although it may be sooner, even within minutes. We’ll keep you informed every step of the way.

And what if I want a new SIM?

If you need to, you can request a new SIM when you switch to O2 from Movistar.
Electronic portability from Movistar to O2 allows the process to be faster, simpler, and more convenient for you because there’s no need to change the SIM. But if you need a new one from O2, call 1551 and we’ll send it to you.

I have Fiber or ADSL with Movistar.

Whether you had ADSL or fiber, the commitment you had with Movistar doesn’t penalize you for coming to O2 because it’s a brand of the Telefónica group.

In the case of switching to another company outside the Telefónica group, the commitment to permanence that you accepted with Movistar when you signed up with that company before O2 will apply.
