What is Simyo?

Simyo is a fiber and mobile telecommunications operator where you’ll get to pay what’s fair. Using your mobile and home internet as usual, but without strange clauses, penalties, or complications, and above all, no surprises on your mobile bill. Mobile portability is a very simple process that involves changing operators without changing your phone number. This process begins as soon as you receive your SIM card. Your current operator and Simyo will agree on a change date as soon as possible. If there are any problems with the portability, we will contact you to resolve them. Once we know when you will switch to Simyo, we will send you an SMS to inform you. Your Simyo SIM card will always arrive before your portability has been effective and will be deactivated until that moment. On the day the operator change takes place, your old card will stop working (usually overnight, so the change affects you as little as possible), and you can start using the Simyo card.

The gigabytes remaining from your data plan are automatically accumulated for you to use in the next 3 months; you don’t have to do anything. You can see the total accumulated MB in your personal area or the mobile app. If you want more information or have questions, check out the “accumulate gigabytes” section.

Don’t worry, all you have to do is follow these steps:

  • Block your current SIM: in the “Block my current SIM” section of your personal area or by calling us at 1644.
  • Request a SIM card change: by calling us or from your personal area. The SIM card is free; you will be charged for shipping costs (€7 including VAT).
  • Activate the duplicate: The duplicate will arrive in a couple of days. Once you receive it, you just have to log in to your personal area (in the “Duplicate/Activate SIM” section) or call us to deactivate your old SIM and activate the duplicate you just received.

To request a SIM card change, you just need to request it from your personal area or call us at 121 from a Simyo number (1644 from another operator), and we will send you another card. You will receive the new “Triple SIM” card from Simyo, with a special punch that makes it compatible with SIM, MicroSIM, and NanoSIM. So you won’t have to ask for a new card every time you change your phone. The SIM card is free; you will be charged for shipping costs (€7 including VAT). The duplicate will arrive in a couple of days. Once you receive it, you just have to log in to your personal area (in “Activate my SIM duplicate”) or call us to deactivate your old SIM and activate the duplicate you just received.

You can enjoy Simyo’s products on your mobile for as long as you want, with no commitment to permanence.

In the Fiber service, there is a 3-month commitment period. If this is not the case, we will inform you at the time of contracting.

Remember that your username is your identification document (DNI, NIF, NIE, or passport). If you still don’t have a password or don’t remember it, you can create a new one with your email and username.

To become a Simyo customer, you only need to be of legal age, have a bank card, and an email address. If you have chosen to become a contract customer, you must also have a bank account. If you want to switch to Simyo while keeping your current mobile number, you must be the owner of the line and not have any other ongoing portability. The information we will ask for includes the phone number you want to bring, the operator it belongs to, and the SIM card serial number. Please note that for legal reasons, if you have chosen prepaid, you must be present at the time of delivery of the order and show your ID.

When you become a Simyo customer, you choose which option you prefer: prepaid (you make top-ups and we deduct your usage from that balance) or contract (we bill you at the end of the month). If you are on prepaid but want to forget about topping up, you can sign up for automatic top-up in your personal area on simyo.es or the mobile app.

You can receive a monthly top-up or have your line topped up when your balance is low. Fiber can only be taken in contract mode, but you can combine it with one or more prepaid or contract mobile lines, or without a mobile line.

At Simyo, we will install the fiber as soon as possible. The installer will arrange an appointment within the first 7 days, bring the router, and set everything up before leaving your home. We will keep you informed via email/SMS throughout the process, and you can also check the status of your installation in your personal area.

The mobile lines you bring to Simyo will be deactivated by us at your previous operator when the portability is complete. However, for the fiber, TV, landline, ADSL, or any other mobile line you don’t want, you will need to cancel it yourself once the Simyo fiber has been installed and your mobile lines have been ported.
