The Digital Kit is an initiative promoted by the Spanish government, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan financed by the European Union through the Next Generation EU funds. Its main objective is to promote the digitalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and self-employed workers, to improve their competitiveness and adaptation to the digital environment.

What is the kit Digital?

The program offers financial support to companies and self-employed individuals so that they can acquire digital solutions that allow them to optimize their processes, improve their online presence and increase their efficiency. These solutions may include:

Websites and e-commerce: Creation or improvement of websites and online stores.
Social media management and digital marketing: Tools to promote businesses on digital platforms.
Customer relationship management (CRM): Software to improve customer relationships.

The amount of aid varies depending on the company’s employees and needs, from 2,000€ to 12,000€.

If you have already applied for the grant before the 2024 extension, you can apply for the 1,000€ extension to purchase 1 computer.

Who can benefit from the Kit digital?

Currently, calls 3, 4 and 5 are available, corresponding to the following sections:

3rd Call: for companies with 0 to less than 3 employees. (Ends on 10/31/2025)
4th Call: for joint ventures, civil societies and agricultural holdings with 0 to less than 50 employees. (Ends on 10/31/2025)
5th Call: For companies with 50 to less than 250 employees. (Ends on 06/30/2025)

Calls 1 and 2, which are for companies with 3 to 49 employees, have ended as of today.

How does the kit digital work?

To access the Kit Digital, companies must carry out a diagnosis of their level of digitalisation through a platform on the official website of the aid, which will allow them to identify their technological needs.

Yes, from 2024, an “extension” of the aid was added even for companies that already requested the digital kit previously to buy a computer. You cannot choose the computer you want, there are specific models with certain requirements that are requested in the aid, the models vary depending on availability.

The Digital Kit is an income from the activity, on the one hand, and an expense on the other. In other words, it is offset and therefore does not affect your tax bill. You will not pay taxes on this grant. What is not included in the grant is the 21% VAT, which you will have to pay before carrying out the project.

Normally, if you apply for it, it is because you plan to spend it. If you do not use it, it expires and cannot be claimed later. You have 6 months to use it once it is approved. It would be best to give up the bonus before it expires and reapply in the future so as not to lose it permanently. It is important to manage the use of the bonus within the established period to make the most of the aid.

NO, the digital kit is only for the aid it is intended for. In fact, the aid money is given to the company that is going to do the work. It is not deposited into your account and you then pay us. We receive direct payment for the digital kit.
